You can join ANSI and write the new standards, if you want.  You can
read the comp.lang.c/comp.lang.c+ faqs, and probably have your
questions answered.  After that, discussion about languages below in
comp.lang.{c,c++}.  If you don't know what that is, try
www.dejanews.com.
