ÃÂ
I suppose maybe my environment variables are NOT correct.
Could you plese tell me what's the correct
setting.
and please spell out the UNIX (Solaris 2.5.1)command
'pkgadd' in details aboutÃÂ installing gzip as a package?
whether every part from GNU such as gcc, bison shold
install using pkgadd command.
about half year ago, I could use winzip to unzip
downloaded files to tar file, and then
untar it on Solaris , last ÃÂ "pkgadd -d . "ÃÂ to
install, but now I'm confused if i bypass taking advantage of gzip.
ÃÂ
ÃÂ
Thanks in advance !
ÃÂ
ÃÂ
dick.
