gcc-2.95.2 installation on IRIX 6.5

Hello,

I am trying to install GCC on IRIX 6.5. When I run 'gmake bootstrap'
I get the following error:

ld32: ERROR 33: Unresolved text symbol "vfork" -- 1st referenced by
../libiberty/libiberty.a(pexecute.o).
        Use linker option -v to see when and which objects, archives and
dsos are loaded.
ld32: INFO 152: Output file removed because of error.
collect2: ld returned 2 exit status
make[2]: *** [protoize] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr3/gnu/gcc'
make[1]: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr3/gnu/gcc'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

I do see vfork.c in the source package.
