HOWTO for spammers:

1: Find a cheap, low-bandwidth dial-up account.
2: Find a well-connected, high-bandwidth open relay.
3. Send your spam as a single message with a zillion RCPT TO: through
   you cheap low-bandwidth dial-up account.
4. Watch the well-connected, high-bandwidth open relay send zillions
   of spams to everybody, much faster than your cheap, low-bandwidth
   dial-up account could ever do.

PS: Isn't this a just slightly off-topic for the list.

PPS: I'm for ORBS, it is a good argument when trying to convince some
     not-so-bright administrators here to close their mail relays.
