Please report this to the linux-kernel mailing list
(linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org). Linus Torvalds welcomes reports from
people using the current CVS gcc and the infamous Red Hat gcc-2.96.

You won't get any sympathy when you complain that the kernel ate your
root filesystem for breakfast, but when you can show what breaks and
how it can be fixed, it will certainly be a great help.
