Interesting point.
I agree about the cvs repository. There's not much point keeping it
around. We preserved all the state by copying the ,v files.
For Gnats I was planning to hack gnatsweb to print a big warning
saying "this repository is for historical reference only" or something
like that.

I think we can fairly easily configure gnats to send email to java-prs
for Java-related PRs. It just involves adding the appropriate CC to
the categories file.
