I'd be interested to see this compared to GCC 2.95.2 and possibly also
GCC 2.95.3-pre (= head of the gcc_2.95-branch).

For my applications, during summer GCC-current was consistently worse than
2.95.2; in October or so we improved nicely (5-10% faster than 2.95.2) and
now we are slower again. On i386-unknown-freebsd4.x, at least.
