Red Hat is shipping egcs-1.1.2, plus a few of their own patches. This
already comes with an STL implementation, though it is not the absolute
latest.

It helps everyone if people try out snapshot releases, but for production
code to be shared with other Red Hat users Tony might be better off using
what is released.
