This sounds like a good idea to me. May I suggest that a similar message
be also generated together with the usual "internal compiler error"
message, something along the lines "You might want to try with the latest
release of GCC before reporting the problem"? But perhaps that's an
overkill and it is enough to put such an information on the "bug report
guidelines" page (or is it there already?).
