Hi, I've seen on the archives that maybe a pascal compiler would
be released with the next egcs release.

This is very, very good news, but ...

GPC is not the only GPL'ed compiler for pascal, there is FPC (Free
Pascal compiler), wich is much more advanced in many aspects than
GPC.

In fact all the planned features of GPC in 
http://fjf.gnu.de/gpc-todo_toc.html
are already implemented and working in FPC.

Of course, the nice thing would be that both teams collaborate on
a common goal, but I don't feel myself like the rigth person to
talk to teams (maybe somebody within the egcs team ?)
