egcs on Pyramid?

The search engine found no joy, so I'll ask here.

Has anyone successfully implemented egcs (more specifically, g++) on a
Pyramid Nile?  We're running DC/OSx d079.7, if that makes any
difference.

The Nile uses MIPS R4400 CPUs, and since Pyramid did the reference port
of SysVr4 to the MIPS chip set for USL back around 1994, I suspect it
would not be a far reach from the IRIX implementation.

If no one has this working, I might give it a shot.
