If you are a user, we prefer that you wait to use this feature until
we decide that it is supportable and works.  At that time, we will
flip the default, and it will just work.  Presently it doesn't just
work.  If you are a developer (of egcs), then we had hoped that you'd
have enough initiative to not need help hacking.  While we can help
people hack, generally it is easier to get help, once you get into the
code and start sending in patches.
