Which link to you mean? Ideally, I guess, people should not be required
to ``surf'' our ftp server, but find all required information on the web
site with handy links.
With regard to your problem, I have updated a FAQ entry by explictely
mentioning the egcs_update script. Would that have helped you with your
problem?

I was going to add that today (actually had planned that for weeks), but
Jeff Law was faster... ;-)

I added the testsuite and benchmark result pages very prominently to the
third paragraph of our main page some time ago.
