Toon, with regard to your wish for such a bug list:

I understood that Jeff won't object if someone takes care of that, as
Martin von Loewis already does for the C++ section. If you submit patches
in that direction, I will approve them, though probably we might want to
take care of

  * Indicates folks we need to get Kerberos/ssh accounts ready so they
  can write in the source tree

in your egcs/MAINTAINERS entry first.
