Not to suggest that I am one, but...
ftp://anjala.mit.edu/pub/redhat/6.0/
contains RPMS for snapshots of gcc-2.95. For some reason, the default rpm
that comes with redhat 6.0 refuses to install these. You will need to upgrade
rpm from the rawhide collection. The compiler goes into /opt/egcs (probably
should change that to /opt/gcc, but what the heck...). libgcj is also included
in the rpm.
