dynamic_cast Problem

Hi Everyone!

After I was able to work around the stringstream problem I now ran
into something else...

I have a structure where an abstract base class "Element" exists and I 
derive several classes from it. One of them is "Logfile." Regardless
of why this makes sense and what is behind it, I need to do safe
downcasting from Element* to Logfile* at one point in my program.

As far as I know this should be done by dynamic_cast which would
result in a function like this:
