gcc for C4x

Hello,
A few question about gcc-2.95.1 for C4x:
1) I'm using binutils-2.7 with a patch from Michael Hayes, but I' m wondering
have the c4x not been included in a later binutils.

Is their be a patch for gcc-2.95.1 to solve a least the first two points.
I didn't find any changes in Changelog file for C4x between the releases of 2.95 and 2.95.1
