Testsuites and releases of gcc

Let's say I've compiled and installed gcc-2.95.1 and I want to run tests on 
it. Where is the testsuite? 

Can I use and "old" egcs testsuite?

Is there a testsuite available in the snapshots of egcs, say egcs-19990808?
