Where is the configure script??

Howdy!

I just unziped and un-tar'd the 1.1 gcc++ package on 
a solaris 2.5 system (egcs-g++-1.1 gzip format).
The 'Configuring egcs' page says to run the configure 
script.  I looked and can't find it....where is it??? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
