egcs-1.1a successfully built using --enable-shared.

1. Cannot build a runnable kernel out of Linux-2.0.35;
2. Netscape 4.05-6 will not load with the new libstdc-2.9.0
        it does with previous 2.8.1.1.
Any ideas what's wrong?
