   Here are the extra failures when using -fpic/-fPIC, looks much
   better than the last snapshot, although the rbug.c failure is still
   a regression from egcs-1.0.3a.

I'll try to get this one later today, luckily I did kill the other PIC
regressions you (and others) reported in time for the release :-)
