EGCS 1.1a compilation / installation report

  Well guys, it works.
config.guess gives the following output:
i686-pc-linux-gnu

  More precisely, the machine is a Pentium-II 333 MHz running kernel
2.0.35, 288 Mb of RAM. Compilation time: about 30 minutes (in parallel
with another heavy calculation used for my work). First stage
compiler: egcs 1.0.3a.

some rest after the release :-)
