I have successfully compiled egcs
1.1b on an Intel Pentium 200 MMX running SCO UnixWare 7.0.1 using gcc 2.8.0; I
had to modify the config.guess from i?86:*:5:7 to i?86:*:5:7.0.1 so that it
would recognize "uname -v" which returns 7.0.1.

#!/bin/sh

# This directory was configured as
follows:

/download/egcs/egcs-1.1b/configure
--with-gcc-version-trigger=/download/egcs/egcs-1.1b/gcc/version.c
--host=i586-UnixWare7.0.1-sysv5 --norecursion

# using
"mh-frag"
