ideas for cpplib

What gave you that impression?

I merged in a a few changes, and I've been bitching for years (but never
have time to do anything about it) that we should merge in improvements
from cccp and finish cpplib, so we can ditch cccp.  The longer we wait,
the worse it gets.

Specifically the December 1995 changes are *not* in cpplib.c
(unless they are in a very different form) - I just looked.
