Sidenote:
 Presumably the ESA (European Space Agency) think the 1750a
port is still active, but it looks like it's under local
maintenance, using gcc-2.7.2 as a base.

 Hmm, maybe the local maintainers, "Chris Nettleton Software"
would be interested in cooperating with egcs?
