subreg patch no problem on Irix6.4

Applied subreg_diff to egcs-19981005, ran make bootstrap and
gcc/testsuite on Irix6.4.  No differences in results.

Expect to try hpux10.20 tomorrow, assuming I've got the new
configure parameters figured out.
