egcs 1.1b and assert.h

Hi,

Between 1.0.3 and 1.1, some things have changed about the way
gcc's <assert.h> is installed.  I would like to avoid the installation of
gcc's <assert.h> in favor of newlib's.

I have already added the following to config/t-rtems:

# Don't install "assert.h" in gcc.  RTEMS uses the one in newlib.
INSTALL_ASSERT_H =

But that does not seem to cover the case in stmp-fixinc which installs
assert.h
along gcc's limits.h whether you want it or not.

I have wrapped the cpopying of assert.h with a conditional
"x$(INSTALL_ASSERT_H) != x but don't know if this is the best
solution.

Could someone tell me what is the best way to insure that RTEMS targets
use newlib's assert.h and nothing else?
