egcs cannot be installed Alpha 164LX-2 system

Hi.

I have some serious trouble to install egcs-1.1

I use Alpha 164LX-2 system with Linux red-hat 5.0 and gcc-2.7.2.

I downloaded egcs a few days ago, and try to install my system.

But I could not install egcs.

The configuration was successful, but during the compile process,
I've met an serious error such as
