successful egcs build/install

Just a note, as requested in the installation instructions, to report a
successful build and installation of egcs 1.0.1 on:
i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1

I'd like to add a word of thanks for producing such a timely (and
impressive) piece of software... (I'd just laid my hands on the third
edition of Stroustrup and was dying to try out some of the things in the
new standard C++ library.)  Good luck for the future!
