bytecode removal

	I'll still in the process of cleaning the last few bits out.

All I am trying to do is help.  I have already gone through and identified all
of the bytecode stuff, and I can see that you aren't getting all of it.  If
you don't care to look at my patch, then go ahead and tell me when you are
done, and I will look at my patch and tell you what you missed.  I think there
are only a few non-obvious things that are left.  Or better yet, I can just
remove them myself if that is OK.

	I'm not planning on fixing the .com stuff; I'll let Klaus know that they
	need fixing.

Well, I already happen to have patches for most of the .com files.  Is there
any reason I can't just fix them myself?
