LANGUAGES="c c++" and libf77?

I just did

  make bootstrap LANGUAGES="c c++"

on yesterday's CVS snapshot under sparc-sun-solaris2.6 and was a bit
surprised to see appear

  rm -f libf2c.a
  ar rc libf2c.a libF77/F77_aloc.o libF77/VersionF.o libF77/main.o
  libF77/s_rnge.o  libF77/abort_.o libF77/getarg_.o libF77/iargc_.o 
  libF77/getenv_.o  libF77/signal_.o...

at the end of the make.


What has libF77 to do in a C/C++ only installation? Is this a feature 
or a bug?
