The configure was run with:

../egcs-980129/configure --prefix=/home/chj/foa72/egcs-linux --verbose
--with-gnu-ld --with-gnu-as --enable-shared --enable-haifa 

And, yes I've read about the latest g++ stuff from HJ. I just thought I could
report my current status.
