install-info question

Hi,

I have gotten a report from an RTEMS user attempting to install egcs
1.0.3a and he ran into this during the install of the info files.  The
directory /usr/local/tools/powerpc/info/ is new so there is no "dir" file
in it.  Should this be an error?  Have this been fixed since 1.0.3a?
