Testing egcs-19980803 on mips-sgi-irix6.2 using octave 2.0.13

As suggested, and having cycles to spare, I have successfully compiled and
tested 
octave-2.0.13 using egcs-19980803 on mips-sgi-irix6.2

Octave sources were patched to avoid two problems
http://www.che.wisc.edu/octave/mailing-lists/bug-octave/1998/270 - required
http://www.che.wisc.edu/octave/mailing-lists/bug-octave/1998/229 - not
required

commands were

env CC=/usr/local/tmp/egcs-19980803/bin/gcc \
    CXX=/usr/local/tmp/egcs-19980803/bin/g++ \
    F77=/usr/local/tmp/egcs-19980803/bin/g77 \
/usr/local/imports/octave-2.0.13/configure --enable-shared  

make
# Remember to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include libstdc++.so.2.9.0
make -k check
