        Happen to me too, I use the latest egcs in CVS tree to compile
    glibc 2.0.7 everything is ok except I can't use telnet (maybe more than
    this but I still don't know it).

        And I can't compile many program with an optimization... -O0 is work.
    for example. bison-1.25, perl-5.004_64, XFree86-6.3...

        It's work with egcs-19980418...
