egcs-980406 on i586-pc-linux-gnu + binutils-2.8.1.0.30

This time I tried the failing gcc/testsuite/gcc.c-torture/compile/980329-1.c
with the as from binutils-2.8.1.0.30. Now I see:

Sure enough, the offending line reads:

        incb %di

This is plainly wrong, even I see that.
