What if I am appending to the old one which is

extern xxxx foo	PROTO((x, y));

Should I do

extern xxxx foo	PROTO((x, y));
extern xxxx bar PROTO((x, y));

or

extern xxxx foo	PROTO((x, y));
extern xxxx bar 		PROTO((x, y));

or

extern xxxx foo	PROTO((x, y));


extern xxxx bar 		PROTO((x, y));
