egcs and glibc 2

Hi,

Has anyone passed "make check" on linux/x86/glibc2? I got core dumps
in libio. But it is ok on linux/x86/libc5. The only difference I
can think of is vtable thunks which is enabled for glibc 2, but
disabled for libc 5. Any ideas?
