[970929] Can't throw in constructor

According to H.J. Lu:

This output is substantially the same as mine (only label numbers
differ).  Also, when I assemble and link H.J.'s assembler code, it
also dumps core here.

So I think my problem originates with libstdc++ or libgcc.
