OSR 5.0.2 whoops

Hmm. I built, without incident, 971105 under SCO 3.2v5.0.4 . (Posted that
to this list, in fact.)
When I tried to build the same thing under SCO 3.2v5.0.2 I found that the
definition of "va_list" was not right for some reason. I managed to
compile the whole thing, mostly by using a "-Dva_list=char*", and twiddling
a little code. However, I don't yet know why I had to do that, especially
since I didn't have to under OSR 5.0.4. I wound up with a good compiler, though.
Hmm. Anybody else had any trouble with it ? I would not doubt that someone
over the years has been fiddling with the <stdarg.h> file on our system.
