egcs-971105, sparc-unknown-linux-gnulibc1, another bootstrap failure

During libgcc2 compilation the assembler (from the redhat 4.2 distribution)
fails:

/tmp/cca15924.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/cca15924.s:219: Error: misaligned data
make[1]: *** [libgcc2.a] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/egcs-971105/gcc'
make: *** [all-gcc] Error 2

I'll try with a current binutils/gas version next.
