Using gcc-2.7.2.2 to compile, libc-5.4.39, dejagnu-971028,
binutils-2.8.1.0.5
% ./configure --prefix=/usr/egcs-971105 --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld i586-pc-linux-gnulibc1
% make
% make check

Although in the g++ case I did have to kill off one of the tests after
about 20 minutes runtime of the a.out - I couldn't find out which one
it was though (somewhere after the last failure...)
