A fifth place for Linux 2.0.30 + egcs-1.0/g77 - and that's before  
any of Richard Henderson's giv-combination patches (which this code  
really needs) !

(Oh, BTW, the hardware mentioned - a Microway Alpha 533 Mhz - goes  
for about $5000 ....)
