Build of egcs on Linux 2.0.32

Sorry for my earlier post.  Indeed adding binutils-2.8.1.0.15 did little
to fix the problems I was having with make -k check.

BUT.  I then tried to build the whole package from the egcs-1.0 directory.
Now make -k check passes with only two failures for dnrm2.f
Comments in dnrm2.f indicate that the bug in g77
"CCC     Version 0.5.21 of `g77' contains an initial effort to fix the
CCC     problem, but this effort is incomplete, and a more complete fix is
CCC     planned for the next release."

I assume the bug is still present in egcs-1.0.
