I built most of Red Hat 5.0 (including the kernel, X server, shells, and
most commonly used programs) with egcs and have been pounding on it for
almost a day on my development machine. It's a Pentium Pro, and I compiled
with -march=pentiumpro; if there were problems with this before, they
seem to be fixed.
3:06am up 22:36, 12 users, load average: 2.95, 3.48, 2.38
Well done!
