make bootstrap fails with egcs-1.0 on Solaris 2.6

Hi all,
Maybe I am missing something fundamental, but I am finding that egcs-1.0 won't
build. It bombs out with the following error:
../../../egcs-1.0/libiberty/floatformat.c:21: math.h: No such file or directory
gnumake[2]: *** [floatformat.o] Error 1
gnumake[2]: Leaving directory `/secarch/tmp/egcs-1.0-obj/libraries/libiberty'
gnumake[1]: *** [all-target-libiberty] Error 2
gnumake[1]: Leaving directory `/secarch/tmp/egcs-1.0-obj'
gnumake: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
If I go and edit the makefile to -I the gcc 2.7.2 include dir which defines
all these headers, it compiles libiberty and then bombs in libio. If I do the
same again, it keeps going and then chokes on a header file in /usr/include
complaining about a missing ;.
Didn't have this problem with the snapshot before last.
Any clues?
