Could someone with an rs6000-ibm-aix4.1.5.0 system debug u77-test.f
to see why it's failing? It's probably something pretty simple -- this
test basically just tries most of the libU77 routines provided with
g77's libf2c, meaning it tries to get and print the date, the username,
and so on. So, if it calls abort(), which it does in several places,
our (g77 folk) knowing just where and why it does that would really
help a lot.

It'd be nice to get this fixed for 1.2, in any case.

        tq vm, (burley)
