Synopsis: i386 compiler can't build libgcc2.c with -msoft-float

    I can't reproduce this with gcc 3.2.0, 3.3 and 3.4, and
    Richard's patch seems to have been applied. Could you
    possibly check whether this is also fixed on your
    system with a newer version of gcc after 3.1?
