 I've tried a series of compilers ranging from 2.95.3 on through several 3.x
 compilers, and I don't see a crash.  So, it appears that this issue was 
 fixed
 long ago.  If you are stuck with 2.95.x for compatibility reasons, you might
 want to try 2.95.3.
