The only system I have to test it on is:
gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Configured with: FreeBSD/alpha system compiler
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.2.1 [FreeBSD] 20021009 (prerelease)
Under this system it does not appear to hang as the buildworld works
correctly (assuming the authors didn't change the command to build
that particular part). It would take some work to find where and how
to run the command that caused the problem originally and I don't
know if/when I could get to it.
